Week 24
Weight gained: 6kg
Feeling: a little bit tired
Baby stats (per the web): 12 inches, 1.25-1.5 lbs

I've decided to start this blog to track my preggers progress, and it'll be something I can look back on later too. Also, in order for anyone to comment, I've moved this from it's old site (on xanga).
Well it's the beginning of the new week, and my appetite has definitely increased. I've averaged a mini kit kat bar each day as dessert, which probably hasn't been good for the little princess' development. So today is the last day for the junk!
As of 2 weeks ago, we've slowly begun to transfer the guest room to into a nursery. I'll post before and after pics soon once it's looking more baby-like. So far we have a crib and a changing table for the room. Don't think we'll be adding much more furniture since the room isn't big enough--and we've kept a bed in the room so we can sleep with the baby in the beginning weeks of the birth. There are still quite a few things (mainly accessories) to buy, but it will all come in due time. We have the big items like the staple furniture, stroller, and carseat (which was free!), so the rest will slowly come in.
Last week we finally saw "The Devil Wears Prada". Yay! Anne Hathaway was beautiful, but Meryl Streep was the real winner in this flick fo sho. But I still love Anne Hathaway!
Last night we rented "40 Year Old Virgin" since I'd never seen it. It was funny, but more of a guys movie since it didn't appeal all that much to me. Too much cussing for my liking (and lots of jokes I didn't get).
Still haven't bought any maternity clothes! All the clothing I've seen is hideous, so I've been surviving on dresses and a few tops, and now a bunch of new loose clothing I ordered online (thanks to babyr for mailing it to me). I do have several pairs of preggy panties (think granny undies), which my mom bought me last month to support my burgeoning belly. My innie has now become a major outie and sticks out through my clothing!
Fetal movement has increased this week and seems like our little angel is getting stronger and more active! Vincent thinks she has no room to move and is cramped, so hopefully she'll be ok. Oh! So far we have two potential names (which we're keeping a secret for now), but I just looked one up and the meaning is 'bitter'!! Hmm.. dunno if that's going to work out, but it's such a cute name!

hot stuff!!
hot belly! does she kick after you eat ice cream?
i still say your boobs are bigger. good job!! herro there teeny!!
i was told that i'm not allowed to eat any ice cream (and i've been craving choco ice cream ever since!) since it can hold a lot of certain bacteria if it has melted and refrozen. dunno if it's true, but i'm staying strong just in case. unless anyone has heard differently??
girl,
don't worry about the icecream. i have had like 8-10 scoops already! by 24th week now you should be OK to eat all the stuff they tell you not too. all the organs are closed to being fully developed if not already! just eat in moderation. don't eat soft cheeses and of course raw spinach! your belly is big! anyway, i can't believe you can still fit into your normal pants. i have these really ugly preggie pants that i keep wearing. nothing else fits. i haven't bought any tops though...they are so uggs!!!
hahaha... i heard empire waist tops are back in fashion again... maybe you can get some of those to hide the bump!
this is so exciting! can't believe the babe is with child!
Woah big belly! Go Jose! (and baby)
wahoo, you are with bun-in-oven! no longer the skinny minnie, and hooray for biggie boobies! and boy are they big. ;-)
I thoroughly LOVE the photo! It looks like a scenic landscape shot of sub saharan sand dunes that I saved as my desktop image. The subtle shades of brown are so warm and beautiful. The shadows look like they were cast by the rays of Sydney's noontime sun...
wa! ni de nai zao ken ding yue lai yue da le!
Is sherbet an acceptable substitute for ice cream?
