Week 30
Weight gained: 11kg (just went to the Dr and it seems my scale at home is messed up)
Feeling: in the Christmas spirit!
Baby stats: 15.5", 2.5lbs
Maybe it's the proportion of the photo, but for some reason my belly never looks as big as it does in person. Oh well. This was our last week of antenatal classes and we learned the very basics of breastfeeding, bathing, and settling. So from here on out, we're on our own! But that's a good thing since the classes have been a bit tiring, and it'll just be good to rest and relax from now on.
This past week I happened to be vegging on the couch and came upon a show called "Wacky Celebrity Baby Names" on Vh1. Here are some of the oddest of the bunch:
Toni Braxton: Denim and Diezel
Jermaine Jackson: Jermajesty (since uncle Michael is the 'king' of pop maybe?)
Jason Lee: Pilot Inspektor
Robert Rodriguez (the director): Rebel, Racer, Rogue, and Rocket
Shannon Sossamon (from 40 Days 40 Nights): Audio Science
Luckily for little princess, we won't be following suit of the stars. Right now we have a few names in mind, but haven't settled on one just yet. And plus, it's going to be a secret. : )
Some preggers symptoms I've experienced of late are: shrinking bladder, heavy belly, tiredness, more noticeable and larger veins in legs and feet
Here's the latest photo of me and baby:

This pic is much more realistic since it actually shows the belly bulge like it is in real life. One of Vincent's friends swears that I'm having a boy because she says I have a more pointy-less round belly, my belly button sticks out, and because you can't see the belly from behind--just the side and front. Then a nurse on Monday said it's definitely a girl since my belly is low and in the front. Of course, according to all the books and websites and forums, there are no tell-tale signs of the baby being a boy or girl and everyone's notions are 50% right. I'm still sticking with the 90% accuracy of the ultrasound saying that it's a girl. (And plus, I've already purchased pink and purple clothing and accessories for her!)

Any big plans for the holidays?
i'd still be happy to allow you the honor of naming her ruth, jr.
Girl! Congrats on being in your 30th week. You and baby are looking good! I've received the same comments about me having a boy and not a girl, but I am more than 90% sure she's a girl. I think the baby's in the front, because this is the first time that our bellies are being stretched...wait until we have our second ones...they should be all over the place...YES! Anyway, keep up the good work, and say hi to Baby Wu for us!
Yes, I plan to breastfeed! That is, if I can. : ) I'm hoping for the best!
No plans for the holidays... : ( ... it will be lonely this Christmas since I can't go anywhere... please come visit me!!! Free accommodation at the Wus!
